Who we are
At CCD, we understand that true organizational excellence can only be achieved when strong leadership and a positive organizational culture are woven into the core of your operations. Our services are designed to guide you and your organization through a transformative journey, embedding these principles into every aspect of your organization.
Cross-Cultural Dynamics was built on the foundational belief that people simply need to respect one another.
Our Story
I (Dr. McGee) didn’t start Cross-Cultural Dynamics (CCD) just as a business—I started it because of the pain and frustration I carried from an experience that left me feeling invisible. I was in a leadership role for years, but despite my position, I often felt my voice didn’t matter. I was part of the team but was unseen, dismissed, and unappreciated. I poured my heart into the work every day, yet I wondered, “Do they even see me?”
The hardest part wasn’t just the lack of recognition—it was the constant feeling that I didn’t belong. Leadership often made decisions without consulting me, disregarding my ideas, even though I was supposed to be one of them. I felt like an outsider in a place where I should’ve been leading. That experience shook me to my core. It wasn’t just about professional rejection—it was about being denied the dignity we all deserve in our work and our lives.
The truth is, being overlooked hurts. It diminishes your sense of worth and makes you question everything. And that’s why I had to create CCD. I needed to do something different—not just for myself, but for every person who has ever felt like they didn’t belong, who has ever been made to feel like their contributions weren’t enough.
I realized that if leaders don’t understand the value of every single person in their organization, they are missing out on the real power of leadership. Leadership is not about titles or authority—it’s about creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued. I started CCD to work with leaders who want to build something more meaningful—cultures where everyone knows they matter and are empowered to succeed.
This isn’t just a business for me; it’s a mission. I know what it feels like to be unseen. And I know the damage it can do—to your confidence, self-esteem, and ability to grow. That’s why I want to help leaders understand that the ripple effect is profound when they create environments where people feel valued. It’s not just about boosting morale—it’s about changing lives.
When I think back to those moments when I was silenced, when I felt small, it reminds me of why this work is so important. CCD exists because no one should feel the way I did. We help leaders create cultures where everyone, regardless of their background or position, has a voice, a purpose, and a place to belong. Because at the end of the day, real success isn’t measured by how many people you lead—it’s measured by the legacy of how you made them feel.
I believe that by approaching our differences using an empowerment approach instead of a deficit-thinking approach, we can build collaboration & true unity.
We have also established ourselves as a firm where we meet every client face to face no matter where they are located in the world. Building relationships is one of our core values, and we live by it every day.

Today, leaders need the skills and tools to lead an increasingly diverse and ever changing workforce. We help leaders recognize that organizational culture is a complex, dynamic system that is continuously evolving.
We believe in the power of leadership, and we know transformative initiatives can only be assessed, implemented, and sustained through a new leadership approach.
Philosophy
We believe leaders build organizational cultures based on their values and beliefs. These provide the foundation for the organization, specifically and fundamentally, how others are treated. Does everyone feel welcome? Does everyone feel like they belong? Does everyone have what they need to be successful in their work.
